Top 7 popping web design trends 2023! 😳
Have you ever heard about Dopamine Colors?!? 😳

Good morning. This is the Daily Lifehack - a newsletter for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and agency owners that’s so sweet; it’s popping!
I accidentally gave my girlfriend super glue instead of lip gloss
She is still not talking to me

Do you know what is also popping beside Ariana’s lip gloss? These are the top 7 web design trends to watch out for in 2023!!
But first things first; You Hear It First …
You hear it First - The latest news!
Did you hear Facebook-parent Meta has launched a subscription service called Meta Verified? This is Mark’s version to allow users to add the (stupid) blue check mark to their Instagram and Facebook accounts for up to $15 a month by verifying their identity. Mark Zuckerberg said on Sunday, tapping a new revenue channel that has returned mixed success for its smaller rival Twitter …

Top 7 Web Design Trends to Expect in 2023
1: AI is knocking at our door: Even if you're not creating websites or products with AI elements, it's still helpful to get comfortable using Artificial Intelligence tools. As AI technology improves, you'll be able to use AI to make better design decisions in much less time. Suppose you're involved in prototyping, for example. In that case, you may be able to use AI to incorporate standard UI components from your company's design library, reducing the amount of time it takes to bring a new product to market.

2: Mobile-Friendly Designs:
Mobile-friendly design is nothing new, but it's more important than ever, making it one of the top web design trends of 2023. As of 2021, approximately 85% of Americans owned a smartphone; many people use their phones to make reservations, view restaurant menus, schedule vehicle maintenance, and handle other tasks. If a company's website doesn't work well on mobile devices, consumers may take their business elsewhere, resulting in lost revenue. A responsive site should adapt to different devices, from tiny smartphones to tablets with 12-inch screens, to give every user a positive experience. You also need to consider the size of the buttons in your designs, as many people operate their smartphones with their thumbs instead of index fingers.
3: Augmented Reality:
Augmented reality combines computer-generated content with real-world elements, creating a more engaging experience. Due to recent technological advancements, more brands are incorporating A/R elements into their websites. A great example is Amazon, which uses Virtual Try-On to help users find shoes they'll love. With Virtual Try-On, shoppers use their smartphones to "try" on shoes, making it possible to test different styles and color combinations without placing an order. Virtual Try-On helps Amazon make sales and reduces the number of shoes returned by customers disappointed with their chosen techniques.
IKEA also uses augmented reality to increase user engagement and promote brand loyalty. The company offers its design lab to help customers pick the right furniture and accessories. IKEA Studio even allows customers to use their smartphones to create 3D plans for each room, making it easy to experiment with different product combinations. For example, consumers can use IKEA Studio to see how well a piece of furniture fits into their current space or find a rug that matches all the art and accessories in a room.

4: Dark Mode
Like responsive design, dark mode isn't new, but it's more popular than ever. Some users find it easier to read light text on a dark background, and dark mode may even extend a smartphone's or tablet's battery life. From a designer's point of view, dark mode makes it easier to experiment with design elements, letting you flex your creative muscles a bit more than usual.
5: Simplicity and minimalism
we see a simplicity movement that claims all we need is some balance – an exercise in “slowing down.” This trend creates a pleasing and relaxing experience for the user and is opposite to the “all about appearances culture.”
We will see more and more websites that explore simplicity by reducing details and asking to reach anonymity.
These websites sometimes act like a structure or designed wireframe, using minimalistic typography, a limited range of type styles within site, muted colors that co-align with big images, or amorphic illustrations that replace detailed UX illustrations. Moreover, at times a sweet animation scroll wraps the website and makes you float into serenity.
Templeton Clothing is an e-commerce website from the Bavarian Northern Alps. A quick look at their hero section is enough to understand their attitude; slow-motion animation, no promotions, or no CTA. Using no words, they are asking you to ease in and scroll. The overall black and white linear borders and big images fit their “anti-design, spotlighting the products as the main thing and the branding as secondary.
6: Dopamine colors
Have you ever heard about Dopamine Colors?!? 😳 Wel, this is on the other side of the spectrum of minimalism; maximalism!
'In 2023, we will get high on color!': "Everything will be saturated with bright colors, and designers will make the audience go crazy." Thus Adi Huri.
And it's not just flashy shades like turquoise, poison green and Valentino Pink, but also color maximizing palettes that lean towards maximalism. Kleurrijke overlays, websitegradiënten en afbeeldingen; het zijn allemaal manieren om de dopamine-inducerende kleuren van 2023 op je website te verwerken.
Infusing multiple colors into your website can create a raw, noisy effect cool enough to attract the likes of the trendsetting Gen Z generation. For example, you can design each part of the same page differently or use different shades for paragraphs, headings, and calls-to-actions.

7: Art Deco:
Over the past decade, there has been a resurgence of interest in Art Deco design. This elegant and sophisticated style was hugely popular in the 1920s and 1930s, and it is now enjoying a new lease on life. One of the trendiest places to see Art Deco influence is in web design. Art Deco elements can add instant glamour to any website, from sleek geometric patterns to colorful statement pieces. This trend will likely continue to be popular in 2023 as it helps create a luxurious and sophisticated look for websites.
That's it, that's all!
