Best 3 Books you NEED to read ...

Good morning. This is the daily lifehack. We’re the buddy that reminds you to buy roses Today if you want to live another day. Thank me later.

You know, sometimes you need a little motivation to get through the week.

That’s why we’re like the leg day of newsletters. You don’t want to skip it. 😬

Don’t skip leg day, kids 💀

Let’s dive in!

If you’re anything like the Daily Lifehack, you love inspiration. And one of the best places to find inspiration is in books. I’ve read many books in my life, most of them non-fiction, but I keep recommending these three books to others!

The top 3 must-read books for entrepreneurs, agency owners, and freaks like me …

  1. Book - Why we Sleep:
What is the best life hack that you can do? Fixing your sleep! We spend about one-third of our time sleeping, which affects the other two-thirds of our life negatively if you ‘EFFED UP’ your sleep. We all know sleep is essential, but it is 1000x more important than I ever thought it would be.
I’ve listed Why We Sleep - by Matthew Walker on audiobook while driving to work. Great hack by listening to audiobooks or podcasts while driving to work to upgrade your productivity and reading time. Anyway, who knew a several hundred-page book on sleep could be so captivating! As someone who is already pretty health conscious, I was utterly shocked at some of the facts shared in this book and had no idea how essential good quality sleep is for our physical and mental health. My jaw was on the floor as I realized that the sleep habits I currently had in the name of productivity were completely counterintuitive to the goals I was trying to achieve. I haven’t stopped talking about this book to my friends and family. So good!

  2. Book - Built to Sell:
‘Creating a Business That Can Thrive Without You’ by John Warrillow. This is a fantastic read for freelancers, agency owners, or entrepreneurs! I wish I had had this book before building my previous agency because I’ve made all the mistakes mentioned in this book. This remarkable book illustrates the importance of building a business that can run without you. Otherwise, the business runs you, and that’s the most significant risk for you and your business. If you ever want to run a company or are starting a big project, start-up, or business, you must read this!

  3. Book - The golfer and the Millionaire by Mark Fisher:
This book is about Having the Drive to Succeed. I find it hard to pick a favorite book because there are so many, but if I have to pick one, this is my favorite book!
It’s a shame this book went out of print; even after 24 years, it’s still an excellent read. I remember so many parts of the book because of the author’s use of symbolism. What I took away from the book is that the old saying “work hard and you will be successful” is true, but the hard work has to be on your mind and emotions; only then will you reach your fullest potential. Great story; I highly recommend it.

P.S.: the author has another fantastic audio book called ‘The Instant Millionaire: A Tale of Wisdom and Wealth’ that you will love if you like this book!

P.P.S.: “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” I know the Dutchies in this audience have a hard time in our culture to read books with the word Millionaire in the title, so don’t be put off by the cheesy title because they are great books!
